We sincerely hope that our relationship with you continues long after you bring your British Shorthair kitten home. As dedicated breeders, lifelong cat lovers, and advocates for the health and wellbeing of our kittens, we take great care in raising happy, healthy cats. However, there are factors beyond our control that can affect a kitten’s health, including genetics, diet, exercise, and general care.
While we cannot guarantee that a kitten will never face health challenges, we promise to do everything in our power to support you and your new feline family member.
Our Wellbeing Assurance
We understand that no kitten can truly be “replaced,” but in certain circumstances, we can provide assistance. If, in the rare event, a kitten passes away within a few years of birth due to a genetic defect, or if within approximately two years a genetic issue arises that significantly affects the kitten’s health, we will replace your kitten with another of equal value at no cost.
The cause of any health issue or death must be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian. In cases where a kitten dies within ten years of birth due to a verified genetic defect, we will reimburse 70% of the original purchase price when you acquire a replacement kitten of equivalent value.
What We Ask From You
Nothing makes us happier than knowing we’ve provided a healthy, happy kitten. To help us ensure the ongoing health of your British Shorthair, we ask that you:
Provide a copy of a veterinary health assessment within two working days of bringing your kitten home.
Follow the age-appropriate vaccination schedule as advised by your veterinarian. Do not give vaccinations in the first ten days after receiving your kitten.
Continue with routine medical care, including deworming, wellness checks, and other recommended veterinary procedures.
We will provide initial deworming and vaccinations up to the date of adoption.
Special Conditions
Our guarantee does not cover temperament, adult size, color, markings, or personality traits. Additionally:
No replacement will be provided if recommended veterinary care, vaccinations, or routine medical procedures are neglected.
Pre-existing breed-specific conditions, such as predisposition to hip dysplasia in certain cats, are not covered.
Costs for veterinary care, medications, or repairs are the responsibility of the owner unless otherwise specified.
